Moving from intent to impact
First Nations Apprenticeship Program
SPIE Power Services is proud to offer our inaugural First Nations Apprenticeship program, providing ten dedicated trades apprenticeships focused on renewable energy and sustainability. Offered in communities adjacent to our project sites across Western Australia, Queensland, and Victoria, this program represents a significant step forward and reflects our deep commitment to reconciliation.
Partnering with registered Group Training Organisation MEGT, our apprentices complete a four-year program culminating in a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting). From bespoke guidance during the application process with our First Nations talent acquisition advisor to fully resourced host sites, we ensure every candidate feels respected, supported, and empowered. This program is a win-win for us all — delivering committed local apprentices, great community outcomes, and real intergenerational change.
